Sriracha

Koh Loi
Koh Loi is a small, picturesque island lying just off the coast. So near, in fact, that visitors can access it by using a bridge. Once on the island, you can visit the sea turtle park and fishery or take a pathway to the top of the island where a Chinese-Thai Buddhist temple is situated. This location is popular with locals and it features several seafood restaurants. |

Khao Samuk

Ang Sila

Chanta Ten Waterfall
This waterfall is 15 kilometres down Sukhumvit Road, on the same route to the Night Safari Khao Keaw Open Zoo. The minor road leading to the waterfall is quite steep. The waterfall has five levels with a total length of one kilometer and it is best to visit the place at the end of rainy season as the waterfall is at its most beautiful then. |

Sriracha Tiger Zoo
Sriracha Tiger Zoo features 200 magnificent Bengal tigers as well as other animals, such as thousands of crocodiles. Visitors are astounded by the fact that tigers, pigs and dogs can all live relatively close together. Check out the Amazing Circus – a show of acrobatic Bengal tigers trained to jump through flaming hoops and to walk on high wire and much more. |

Wihan Thep Sathit Phra Kitti Chaloem or Nacha Sa Thai Chue Shrine
This is a beautifully made four-storey Chinese temple located on the coast from Ang Sila to Khao Sam Mook. It was built to commemorate the 72nd anniversary of His Majesty’s accession to the throne. Decorated in Chinese style, it is one of the most beautiful of its type in the eastern region of Thailand. Some of the special features of the temple are its 2,840 dragon sculptures, the sacred censor Fah-Din pole, and its 60 Tai Sua Ea statues.

Khao Keaw Open Zoo
The Night Safari Khao Keaw Open Zoo is the only natural park in Chonburi Province. It is operated by an efficient team who look after about 300 different species of animals, most of whom enjoy large open spaces that are specifically designed according to their natural habitats and made to fit the animals’ needs and behavior patterns. Visitors will have no problem getting up close to observe. This, at 5,000 rai, is one of the largest open zoos in the world. Another endearing feature of the zoo is its five-rai aviary that features flamingos and many other winged creatures. |

Bangsan Beach - Pattaya – Bang Saray
From Sriracha, it’s an easy drive to many other well-known beaches in Chonburi Province. It’s all a question of time… If you’re in a hurry go to nearby Bangsan Beach. Nong Mon Market
Nhong Mon Market is located one kilometre from Bang San Beach. It is a well-known souvenir market but also equally famous for its local food speciality ‘khao lam’. This consists of glutinous rice cooked in hollowed-out bamboo trunks. The market’s popularity has not waned throughout the ages and there is a local saying that, ‘You can’t say you’ve been to Chonburi unless you’ve taken some khao lam home with you.’ |

Natural Study and Mangrove Forest Conservation Institute, For the purpose of ecotourism, Chonburi Province
This 300-rai institute is thought to be the last conserved mangrove forest that exists in Chonburi Province. There is a 2,300-metre-long wooden bridge for tourists to walk along as they observe the habitat of the mangroves – the natural boundary between the sea and land and a nursery for thousands of small fish. The mangroves’ roots are a nutritious source for many underwater creatures and also act as an organic filter. |

Koh Si-Chang
Koh Si-Chang is a large island, counted as a separate district in its own right in Chonburi Province. You’ll find an international pier for freighters here while locals stay more to the east of the island. Remarkable Tourist Destinations in Koh Si-Chang
Chao PorKhao Yai Cave
This cave is located at Kayasira Mountain near the Tevavong pier, to the north of the island. Chao Jao Por Khao Yai is a sacred place to the locals. During the Chinese New Year’s celebrations many people come to ‘make merit’ at the shrine and it is believed that whoever comes to make merit here three times in three years’ succession will become wealthy. Tourists can enjoy a bird’s-eye view of local peoples’ homes from this location.
Chong Khao Khad and Glom Beach
By Chong Khao Khad Beach there is a bridge for visitors to walk along to appreciate the beauty of the location. Moreover, there is also lovely Hin Glom Beach, known for its diversity of rocks strewn along it. King Rama V used to come here.
The Old Palace Grounds
Pra Jutatucharatchatan is located to the south of the island. It was built during the reign King Rama V as a summer palace.
Khao Tam Pang Beach
This beach is located on the west side of the island. A large beach with clean blue sea, it is idyllic for both water sports and relaxation.
